I trained as an illustrator at Manchester College of Art and Design, spending the major part of my degree studying wildlife, specialising in birds of prey.

I have been a professional illustrator for 37 years concentrating mainly on children's stories for television, dramas such as Sherlock Holmes, and Factual programmes . . . some of which (plus other work) appear on my 'some other work' web page.

I am now doing more and more private commission work especially of dogs and other pets.

Having had many varieties of pets ourselves when the children were young, we now have two Flatcoated Retrievers ‘Frankie’ our 4 year old & 'Eddie' our 1 year old.
