I have been a professional illustrator for 37 years concentrating mainly on children's stories for television, dramas such as Sherlock Holmes, and Factual programmes . . . some of which (plus other work) appear on my 'some other work' web page.

I am now doing more and more private commission work especially of dogs and other pets.

Having had many varieties of pets ourselves when the children were younger, we now have two Flatcoated Retrievers ‘Hewie’ our 10 year old & 'Frankie' our 2 year old.

I joined the Northern England Flatcoated Retriever Association in 1998 when 'Hewie' was puppy (a Wizardwood boy) our first dog . . . we have had the pleasure of him for 10 years now. As well as Hewie we now have another wonderful Flatcoat, an 'Eskwinds' boy called Frankie . . .
